WHAT IS THE EXPECTED PAYBACK?
The estimated payback period for a 2.0 MGD plant opting for
the SymBio® Elite process control is 1-2 years assuming
that the plant was originally designed for nitrification only
and is now targeting extremely low levels of phosphorus (< 0.5
mg/l) along with complete nitrification. The savings result
from lower chemical costs, lower sludge hauling cost as well
as due to reduction in aeration energy consumption
